Lawrence of Arabia says:

“All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds awake to the day to find it was all vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for the may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible…”

Do you dream by night, or do you dream by day? Dreams by day cannot be accomplished alone. As the church, our dream by day is to see the reign of God break into every sphere and every nation. That dream demands diverse gifts to accomplish that mission; we need the full diversity of the body of Christ. Throughout Romans, we are called to reconcile with God and one another across our differences, and the goal of this reconciliation is mission. And Rom 15:22–33 invites a church to dream with open eyes, acting out those dreams as we partner in mission, giving, and in prayer to see God’s kingdom break through in every sphere and every nation.
