HOW DID YOU SEE GOD THIS WEEK AS YOU FOLLOWED HIM?

WHAT DID GOD SAY IN HIS WORD?

Opening Question:

What’s going on in your life that feels messy or chaotic or out of order?

8 And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst. 9 Exactly as I show you concerning the pattern of the tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it.

Reflect Together:

What does it mean that God’s tabernacle always has bread in it? (See Exod 25:29-30)

What does it mean that God’s tabernacle always had light shining from it? (See Exod 25:31-33, 27:20-21, and Matt. 5:16)

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THROUGH HIS WORD?

God promised to speak to his people from above the ark of the covenant (Exod 25:22). God’s continues to speak to his people today through the Bible. What is God speaking to you recently?

Where is God calling you to shine his light and love right now?

WHAT DOES GOD WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?

If you don’t have a definite routine or plan for listening to God regularly, it’s time to set one in place. If you do, consider who else God might be calling you to invite to do the same, and then make an invitation.

Just as the light in the tabernacle was never to be extinguished, our light is also always supposed to shine before others to point them to God. Though many of our spheres of relationships have been limited or reduced, we still have contact with some others. How might you show them some of God’s love this week?
