Serve in the Community

Wellspring recognizes the multitude of needs that exist in our community. We seek to identify volunteer opportunities where our church family can develop meaningful relationships with local organizations:


Albany Park Soup Kitchen - Be a blessing by serving or preparing food for the homeless in Chicago. Assist the Inner-City CMA Christ Church of Albany Park as they reach out to the homeless in their community. Sign up by emailing Anita Sanchez.


CareNet - CareNet is a Christ-centered ministry whose mission is to promote a culture of life within our society in order to serve people facing unplanned pregnancies and related sexual issues. Click here for more information.


Chicago Alive Youth Camp - Provides Chicago inner-city children with an opportunity to respond to the proclamation of the Gospel, to be discipled toward maturity as a Christian, and to be developed as future leaders for the church and society, all within a safe camping environment. Click here for more information.


Evangelical Child and Family Agency (ECFA) - Expectant Parent Counseling/Preparation; Foster Care Placement, Home Study (Domestic), Infant Placement, Open Adoption; Supervision Prior to Adoption (Domestic) and Parent Education Training (Domestic). Click here for more information.


Family Empowerment Centers - We serve the community on the north side of the city of Chicago, with 65,000 plus people living within a 1.8 square mile area. The diversity of our community is rich with more than 40 primary languages spoken. Click here for more information.


Jubilee Furniture - Jubilee Furniture is a transitional and independent living program for single, formerly homeless, mothers between the ages of 17and 20. Jubilee Furniture exists to provide safe, secure housing, experienced mentors, and financial counseling for its residents as they prepare for independent living, upon their graduation from the program. Click here for more information.


JUST - JUST is a nonprofit organization working to meet the needs of inmates in the DuPage County Jail and their families. Our mission is to share God's love and provide a range of programs to incarcerated men and women in order to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. Click here for more information.

Outreach Community Ministries -The Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream is a multi-purpose, neighborhood resource center serving the residents in the southern section of Carol Stream. Click here for more information.


P.A.D.S. - (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) Providing meals and a place to sleep to the homeless of DuPage County.  Click here for more information.

Repeat Boutique Center - Repeat Boutique provides clothing and household items to Christian workers, refugees, and those in need with referrals from Dupage County agencies. Click here for more information.

World Relief - Of the 27,100,000+ people displaced from their homes every year due to conflict and persecution, over 700,00 are resettled in the United States every year. World Relief's Community ESL Program provides many day and evening classes with an annual enrollment of over 800 students from over 60 countries. Click here for more information.
