Series: Cultivating Our Eden
Although we have been exiled from Eden (Gen 3:22–24; Ezek 28:11–15), our work of cultivating our Eden (Gen 2:15) continues even in exile (Jer 29:1–14). As we have explored this theme for the past few weeks, the question remains, “What about Jesus? How is our call to cultivate affected by the work that Jesus Christ has done?
Since Jesus’ work is finished on the cross, what effect does that have on our work?” This week we will explore 1 Cor 3:5–15 to see how our work of cultivating continues in Christ. More specifically, we see that God works through us to build on Christ, so we are responsible to build well (1 Cor 3:5-15).
