How did we see God move this week as we tried to live out the Spirit’s leading? What challenges did we encounter? What victories can we celebrate?

21:22 And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, 25 and its gates will never be shut by day– and there will be no night there. 26 They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life. 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Recall from Sunday:

Rev. 21:22-27 God’s glory permeates every square inch and sphere…

Rev. 22:1-2 …to bring healing to the nations…

Rev. 22:3-5 …and gives authority to his servants

Reflect: What sticks out to you personally from the passage?

What impacted you on a personal level from Sunday’s sermon?

The glory of God will extend throughout all the world in the New Creation. We have hope then, that God’s glory is breaking through in every sphere of our lives. How have you seen the work of God recently in your workplace, in the lives of your coworkers/classmates/family members?

We look forward to the day when death and pain are no more and God wipes away every tear. Until then, we invite the power of God’s healing into our world. Who in your life needs to experience the healing power of God? Have you invited God to heal them? How can you help?

We become what we worship. Do we find ourselves growing more into the character of God or not? Does the Spirit have something to say to us about what we’re worshipping?

If your group is feeling God’s call to invite his healing power into their spheres of influence, decide who you will pray for, and whether the Spirit is drawing you to pray together with that person for their healing. Remember to pray that this healing would draw your friend to give praise to Jesus. If there’s a way you can practically help the person as well, go for it!

If your group is feeling challenged by the Spirit about worshipping something other than God, seek what changes the Spirit may be drawing you to make. Decide with the Spirit and group’s help on a practical step you can take this week that will begin changing your heart.
