Jesus Rest
Jesus came as a King to bring rest. But are we living under his Kingdom and in that rest? Jesus’ Kingdom is not marked by anxiety but peace (cf. Rom 14:17). However, our lives become regularly marked by anxiety because we refuse Jesus’ invitation to the Kingdom. How do we enter into the rest of Jesus’ Kingdom? Jesus invites us like children to receive his revelation, respond to his invitation and grow in his instruction. As we receive, respond and grow, then we enter into the rest of his kingdom.
