HOW HAVE WE HELPED SOMEONE BELONG AND BE REAL IN CHRIST?

WHAT DID GOD SAY IN HIS WORD?
12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and declaring that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
13 She who is at Babylon, who is likewise chosen, sends you greetings, and so does Mark, my son. 14 Greet one another with the kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
Recall from Sunday:
1 Peter 5:12 – We must help others belong together in the grace of God.
1 Peter 5:13-14 – We must help others be real in relationship with one another.
Reflect:
After 6 weeks of “Community” messages in 1 Peter, what has stuck with you the longest and made the most difference in your life?

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THROUGH HIS WORD?
Peter wrote his letter so that the church would stand firm in the grace of God. How has the community of the church helped you stand firm in God’s grace?
Are we as a group helping each other belong and be real? Are there any members who feel like they are on the periphery? Are there steps we could take to foster better authenticity?
How are we each helping other people belong and be real at our Sunday morning services? Do we look out for newcomers and introduce ourselves?
