Thriving Through A Shutdown

This novel coronavirus makes it feel that we are imprisoned in our own home. Our city is shut down; churches, schools, restaurants, health clubs, and even Starbucks is shut down. How do you thrive when you are shut down?  Thankfully we are not the first to encounter this. In prison Paul learned to pray, and through prayer he models how to thrive through a shutdown. Some of his best work happens in prison. Driven to our knees we find power in Christ and the fullness of God to see God do more than we can ask for or imagine (Eph 3:14–21). This is how Paul thrives through prison in Ephesians 3:14–21; may we thrive with him through this shutdown.
