With extensive experience in the immigrant church, Dr. Mitch Kim desires to raise up multicultural people as Kingdom workers in a globalized world. He helped to establish the Joshua Generation, a ministry to connect and equip youth workers to reach their generation for Christ. In 2010, he participated in the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Cape Town, South Africa. He coauthored with G. K. Beale God Dwells Among Us: Expanding Eden to the Ends of the Earth, a biblical theology of mission from Creation to New Creation, and published Genesis: A 12-Week Study (Knowing the Bible). He has also taught in the graduate school at Wheaton College. Mitch lives in Naperville with his wife, Eunsil, and their 3 kids: Elise, Ana, & Eden.

James has been serving in youth ministry since 2001, primarily in the immigrant church. His passion is to see youth know and experience Jesus Christ as they have opportunities to exercise their faith in evangelism, service, and leadership. He majored in English-Literature at Loyola University in Chicago. He is currently pursuing ordination with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. James and his wife, Sandy, are the proud parents of Ruth and Karsten, and they live in Wheaton.

Kathy joined the Wellspring staff in April of 2019, after having joyfully ministered with children for seven years at Christ Church Oak Brook. She loves to learn from children, as they are so open and eager to experience more of God. Kathy is excited to walk alongside children as they get to know and love Jesus and she’s grateful to partner with parents in this journey of faith. She graduated with a Masters in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton Graduate School and served for about seventeen years in Bible Study Fellowship. Prior to her calling into ministry, she enjoyed making a child’s visit to the dentist, super fun! Kathy lives in Wheaton and enjoys her two grown children, Emma and Luke and her grand dog, Koa.
